Terms of Use
These are the rules for using LockinBro. Short, and they apply to everyone equally.
What LockinBro is
An app for studying together with your friends. You log a study session with time and a photo, and your friends see that you were there.
LockinBro is built as a UF project, that is, by students within Ung Företagsamhet, a Swedish programme where upper secondary school students run a company for a school year.
You must be at least 13
Anyone younger than that may not create an account. By ticking the box when you sign up, you confirm that you are 13 or older.
Your account is yours
You are responsible for what you post: the photos you take, the text you write and the name you choose. Don’t lend out the account, and sign in as yourself.
This is not allowed
Abusive, offensive, threatening and sexual content is prohibited in the app. This applies to photos as well as text. The same goes for harassing anyone, no matter how it is done.
We have zero tolerance: objectionable content is removed, and anyone who posts it or harasses others can be suspended.
Don’t photograph other people without their saying yes. A study photo should show where you are sitting, not people who haven’t chosen to be in it.
Report and block
Press and hold a card in the feed to report it or block the person who posted it. You can also block someone by pressing and holding the person in your friend list. Blocked people are listed under Settings (Inställningar), which you reach from Profile (Profil). There you can also unblock someone.
A block works both ways: you don’t see each other’s sessions, anywhere in the app.
A session you have reported disappears for you right away and does not come back, even if the report does not lead to anything.
We review reports within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and accounts that break them can be suspended.
We can suspend an account
If you break the terms, we can suspend the account. If necessary, this can happen without warning, for example when something has to be removed right away. While the account is suspended, you see a screen that says when and why. From there you can email us, sign out or delete the account.
The service is provided as is
LockinBro is a school project and not a finished product. We cannot guarantee that the app always works, that nothing breaks or that it will be around forever. Use it as it is.
